I spent a week with a friend learning how to sew by making this dress. A navy blue knee length woven dress with white stars in cotton poplin.

Originally created in tea length, I shortened it to knee length later.

Pattern: Cashmerette Upton dress pattern in size 20. Sleeveless with a scooped neckline and high back. The skirt is pleated at the waist and has pockets.

Fabric: navy blue cotton poplin with medium white stars for the skirt, small white stars for the bodice, and polka dots for the lining.
